The second package is called the “three instalments plan”. The first payment of 40% of ticket fee plus a 5% product charge paid at the point of ticketing in cash or cheque instant. The second payment of 30% of ticket fee is made on or before the thirtieth (30th) day from the day the ticket was first issued.
The third payment is made on or before the 60th day from when the ticket was initially issued. Note that the second and third payments require 2 un-recallable post-dated cheques. This plan is available when ticket purchase is at least one month in advance of travel; this is to tie down ticket costs before peaks periods when prices usually rise.
Also note that for both plans, the product charge is only a percentage of the credit portion of the cost of the ticket and not a percentage of the total cost of the ticket.
